This week's Writerly (http://www.livejournal.com/community/musemuggers_2/71692.html?view=717324#t717324) is an easy one -- the last good book you've read. I wish there were more comments on this topic; I always need book rec's. (Though I am currently reading Bookman's Wake, which is excellent reading for a bibliophile.)

Unfortunately, the last good book I've read was Lolita. This is because a) I haven't had time to read a lot recently, and b) every other book I read after that was crap. (With the exception of Slaughterhouse Five, which I haven't finished.)

Need to get started on the Mark Twain purchases soon.
