I'm not going to get time to finish my musemuggers_2 story before Monday, unless I insist on some writing time tonight. Even if I don't, I will finish it, because when I finally felt like re-reading "B.F.F.", I discovered that the tie-in is right there: "she took an almost empty bus to the suburbs". Go me. I like Corr; she's been with me for a few years. I'm going to start giving her first dibs on prompts.

I haven't even signed up for NaNo officially, yet. I'm going to wait til the last minute, so that I don't have any time to start freaking out. Then, I can just start and GO! (Writing, I mean, not freaking out.) Research will give me something to do when I need a break from typing.

I'm going to a mycological society's show today. Mushrooms.

there are a few (like four) icons on the nano website itself. On LJ, check sunliticons; this is ciri's icon LJ, and she's posted a selection of good ones, with an open invitation to gack and credit.

There's a community for NaNo icons... nanoicons, actually, I think. And people offer them on nanowrimo occasionally.
