I love reading peoples "my favourite [fill in the blank] lists". They are illustrative of what's important to a person (or at least, what's at the forefront of the mind) at the time they write the list, and thus are fun to read.

Give me your books and authors, your music, your whiskers on kittens, your preferred types of wine, or food, or shoes, or whatever. I will read them all! *laughs maniacally*
