Oh, yeah...

Ages ago, I asked
telynmurali
for 5 questions, and then I forgot to check back to see if she'd given them to me.
1. What is your life's dream, your heart's desire?
My heart's desire is to be... Emperor of All. No, actually -- I would like to be someone associated with the designation, "the artist", and I would like to have the time & peace of mind to create.
2. If you were to die and be cremated, what would you like done with your ashes?
Cremation is my choice of disposal, until the bio-recyling thing talked about in Stiff becomes an option. I would like my ashes to be buried, no container, into some soil that can use the ash for a better PH, and have something grow greener and healthier because of who I was.
3. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be and why?
I would like to be free of the violent self-doubt that I have never been able to shake off completely.
4. What is your favourite from all the characters that you've written?
I love Jouet Isobel, I really do. She's been so pushy.
5. What world culture, past or present, do you prefer? For example, Egyptian, Norse, Ancient Chinese..
Ah... I like some of the Native American cultures, but not one specifically (I don't know enough to say). One of the horse cultures, that are nomadic -- like the Plains Indians. There seems to have been more of a balance with the men's & women's roles, and a deep consideration for the harmony of man & nature. The Great Law of the Iroquois, for example, is something to the effect of considering how today's actions will affect the next seven generations. Also, I think that there was no room for layabouts, and everyone contributed to the community. Shamanism is good... and nothing of a kill was ever wasted; even the brains of a deer are used for tanning (the best tanning, too).
(Sorry that I forgot about these. I don't use the email option of comments & responses. So if I forget to check back... .)
