Nook covers
I made a simple, temporary cover for D's Nook ereader out of the cardboard sheet that came in the shipping box as packaging, hair rubber bands, buttons, and thread. There are some how-to guides online on making an inexpensive cover, but I think it would be fun to add mine, since it even uses the packaging. I can improve on the simplicity of it by using paperclips instead of some of the sewing, too, I think. Someone on YouTube mentioned duct tape. I'm thinking that I could make an Instructable, but I'm feeling weird about that. Shyness, embarrassment over photos taken with my phone... general silliness.
It would be cool, too, to make a cover that has a 2nd section with a thin notebook and fountain pen. Because the juxtaposition is amusing. (The Petit1 Pilot is my current favorite because the size is perfect for my stubby hands, but I might just have to get a Platinum Preppy for comparison.)
Those of you with ereaders or who have been window shopping for one, what features would you like in a cover for your device? Do you already use an envelope, pocket, flip book, or traditional book cover style?
