Take me out... in the neon and the ruin...
The weather is too splendid today for me to stay inside. Such is the curse of Seattle guilt. I'm dawdling at home on the chance of catching L for lunch, but she headed out before I headed home.
Started watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex yesterday, am hooked. It's full of pretty. The robot-tachi are what did it, though. I am charmed. I need to dig around and find out how to get the theme song; I've been told it's not on the OST.
Slender Means is doing a free in-store at Easy Street (the one near me, I'm pretty sure) next Friday. I really like them. There is a heartbroken quality in the lyric content that appeals. Saturday is Crafternoon. I'm thinking you can show up anytime between 12(noon) and 5. We'll have tea and some munchables to go with, and you are welcome to bring more if you like but you don't have to. I think I'll be trying my hand at leather, as long as I pick up some tools this week. It's an excuse to go to Macpherson's.
